The Mushroom Deer Stash Locket is handcrafted from sterling silver, featuring a fused silver stardust texture on the sides. The front depicts a mushroom-antlered deer among the ferns, beneath a crescent moon. A small rose cut Serpentine is nestled beside the moon. The locket swivels to open, showing a Rumination Jewelry logo inside. It does not open all the way: it isn't made for pictures, more made to stash and squirrel away small bits and bobs. The back has a hand forged spiral created from a cast hawthorn. The pendant comes on a 30" double sterling silver chain with hand crafted clasp.
The pendants dimensions are 1.5" height x 1" width, at it's widest points.
I want to escape away into the forested night, under the darkened tree cover, a sliver of moonshine peaking through the canopy. Gliding through the undergrowth with the horned ones, effortlessly weaving around root and prickle, hearing only the thud-thud-thud of blood pumping in my ears and the rustle below my hooves. Libertine ecstasy, both ancient and new.
All cast thorns, twigs and other nature bits are collected near my home in Appalachia and cast in small batches in my home studio. These pieces of nature are immortalized in silver.
